Good car, could be great
By Obx'er | on Friday, August 21, 2020
I bought a 2016 Disco Sport in mid 2020 after owning and loving a 2011 LR2. I'm still getting used to the 4cyl turbo with it's slight turbo lag. It's a little bigger, quieter and handles better than the LR2 but not impressed with the fuel mileage. The car looks beautiful and is nicely finished. Overall, our 10 year old Audi Q5 is a better car, but the cargo space is a bit tight. We didn't want your typical SUV, so we're giving Land Rover one more try. It's a very nice car and I'll keep this updated.… - 5.0
By far the best car I own
By Sean | on Sunday, November 17, 2019
My wife and I were looking to replace her suv and she stated that she did not want any of the crossovers or weak offerings that seemed to be everywhere. We saw this and she was in love. It is exactly what she wanted and is amazingly comfortable to drive. We had snow already and this thing got trough it with no issues. It does not even slip on an icy incline. We are so impressed we will likely be buying another Land Rover in the future.… - 1.0
Never again
By Shannon | on Sunday, January 28, 2024
I've had 4 Mercedes Benz and decided to try something different...I bought a used Land Rover Discovery Sport HSE from a local dealership...there was no back wiper blade, no window washing fluid and tires with different tread so it made noise when I drove it...THEY ended up paying $1200 for a new set of tires...after those minor things, it was okay for a year and then on New Year's Eve.... 💥 Check engine light is on. I took it in on 1/2/24 had them change the oil and run a diagnostic test on it and some codes were cleared but one remained so they said they needed to order another solenoid which took 3 weeks to get here. Enter new solenoid....still have light on. The mechanics that worked on the car said it was an internal engine issue to where the engine would have to be taken out and I'd need to take it to Portland to the dealership. I saw mass hemorrhaging of money so this Saturday, I traded it in and I'll have a 2023 Camaro. The sales manager said since it has expensive problems, they were just gonna send it to the auto auction. I will NEVER own another Land Rover or s Jaguar for that matter.…
